When a friend introduced me to Urban Removals I was immediately impressed. Quotes and paperwork was handled quickly and fairly and when the guys showed up at my storage unit they got straight to work. The task was to remove 100 square foot indooor storage unit and take it to a new place closer to my home. They were great! Everything was unpacked/repacked and moved quickly and safely. A great team and company which I would reccommend anytime. Well done guys (I'm even looking forwards to my next move, LOL)

So friendly and helpful and up for a laugh too (especially uncovering the amount of dust under our bed 😂) We had an added complication that our move was delayed by 4 days. Jorge did everything he could to make it all as smooth as possible and moved all our stuff again from their storage to a temporary location and then to our new house 4 days later! They were extremely efficient and cannot fault anything! Highly recommend!

What should have been a straight forward removal / unload turned into an absolute nightmare when we arrived to our new property to find the owners hadnt packed up or removed any of their furniture out. I was in tears as it was already late in the day and we had nowhere to put our furniture but Jorge and his team were absolutely amazing and remained calm and professional throughout and cleared the house of the owner’s belongings and full furniture before loading us in. Honestly they were incredible and did it with manners and professionalism and still had banter even though it was a long tough day for them loading and unloading. I know we said it hundreds of times on the day to you but honestly thank you so much !!!! Nothing makes moving exactly a pleasure but good humour and accommodating service certainly help as does a very reasonable bill at the end of the day! Thanks to UR who we only heard about from a leaflet through our door but would now recommend to others.

Cant fault their service – from initial quote through to closing the van doors outside our new home I was very impressed with their service, professionalism and organisation – for what I consider to be the most stressful part of moving house, Urban Removals made it stress-free and happen smoothly!

I moved from a 2nd floor flat in November 2016 and Jorge fitted me in at short notice. Urban Removals arrived early and emptied the whole flat in one hour.
Found creative solutions to solve problems.
They arrived within 30 minutes of me calling having got keys to new house. The moving in was all done as fast and efficiently as moving out.

Jorge and Jane were brilliant in ordering our housemove. Due to a few issues we didn’t get much notice to move and even though they were booked up, Jane pulled some strings to be able to fit us in. We used the packing and moving service and everything was great all was moved including our ikea sofa which had to be practically dismantled back to its original state before moving and then it was reassembled at the other end. Really quick to unpack and give us the rest of the day to settle in. Jorge came around to collect the boxes after we’d unpacked. Would definitely recommend them. Many thanks to all at Urban Removals!

Jorge and his team were amazing for our move in March 2015.
The initial quotation on the website was lower than the eventual quote Jorge did in person, but we were happy as it was still lower than other companies.
Jorge was excellent at quickly casting an eye over the whole house and recognising what might or might not be a challenge, including some hefty items of gym equipment!
We really felt in trusted capable hands.
The chain of buyers and vendors meant that the moving date changed quite a lot in the last few weeks and Jorge was always charming and amenable and clear about what dates would or would not work for them.
We packed a lot of items the previous day and then on the day itself just the last few pieces, and it was a good positive atmosphere, which we appreciated.
When it took a while to get the keys, Jorge and his team were very patient and just waited for everything to be sorted out.
They made it an enjoyable moving experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them and/or use them again.

I have had experience with a number of removal companies, from home move to large item deliveries and I must say Jorge and his team have demonstrated that they are best among the rest. Very professional, arrived when they said they would, very quick and efficient in loading up, and completed the move within the exact timeframe they had given us, which meant we could get on with all of our plans for the rest of the day! They helped to dismantle and reassemble furniture and they left no single stain, mark or dent on our walls or furniture – very careful and meticulous in getting large furniture items through staircase and manoeuvring bends in the staircase. They come highly recommended – they really took the stress out of my home move.

Jorge and the guys helped me move house in March 2015. Jorge provided me with an estimate for the removal including packing and an estimate on storage space I’d require which was spot on. On the moving day they arrived promptly, packed a large 1 bed flat and moved all safely into storage. When packing they were attentive to the fact that the items will be in long term storage and when items were being placed in storage the team made sure the items I needed in the short term were accessible. I used Urban this week to assist with moving our conference kit. As an Events Manager I know that moving conference kit is a delicate procedure due to the nature of the AV equipment (projectors/ipads/screens/staging etc. And I needed the right people to help me do this.

We WON’T move again but if we did, we would use these guys. We booked our move with only a week’s notice and Jorge was very understanding and accommodating. He and his team arrived promptly on move day and really helped diffuse any stress with their cheerful banter and comic timing. We were so impressed that our large 4 bed house was packed up in under 3 hours. There was a delay with solicitors and banks which meant the guys had to hang around for a few hours and they dealt with that very positively. Once in our new house, they unpacked the vans in about 2 hours and left us with beds made up and furniture all placed in the right place. Quite important with our young family! A particularly mention to Jed and Adam who were especially helpful and funny on the day.

Jorge and James arrived promptly on the day, worked tremendously hard, and job done and dusted within what I would call record time. Urban Removals were recommended to us by a storage company in Wokingham. Jorge called round to estimate removal costs for all our belongings and furniture from a second floor flat based on what he saw that day, price included insurance, with no online forms or re-quote surprises.
Jorge’s quotation was perfectly reasonable and competitive (good value). Jorge and his colleague Jed are very honest and professional. They were so swift on the day that I could not keep up labelling boxes as they carried them out of the flat! No breakages, no dramas, just real slick and efficient!
It can be very easy to under-estimate the amount of effort required in moving home – hiring a van, doing all the fetching and carrying yourself. Urban Removals provide an excellent service and we are very happy to recommend them and would sincerely hire their services again in the future.

I chose Urban Removals to help me move my furnature into storage – it was a good decission – they were very efficient and helpful – they dismantled those pieces that required it and packed a luton van in little more than 1 hour – they managed to move an upright piano from the first floor down and onto the van with no trouble – they took my furniture to the storage depot and waited for me to arrive.

Urban were the first to respond to my request for a quote, and the first to qutoe as well. From the start I found Jorge courteous helpful and professional, and the quote came through online shortly after his visit. As we were unable to confirm the exchange and move date at our vendors end, we had to keep Jorge on standby right up until the very last minute before finally going ahead with the booking – he was extremely understanding of our situation and stayed in touch by email, text and phone, to reassure us that as soon as we were ready, he would be ready to go. Jorge and his team were extremely friendly and efficient on the day, taking care not to block the country road on which we lived as they loaded the van. They were on time each morning and worked hard to get us into our new home, despite our delayed access, until quite late in the evening. The only thing I would question, if anything, was the fact that I think he had quoted for 4 men to work on the second day, and there only seemed to be 3, which I suspect slowed us down. Where do I start to give this local company the credit they well earned. It’s hard to keep it short but I am pushed to write a long message to promote them.
I had other quotes for the move (with internet access too many choices these days) but I booked Jorge purely because I felt he was a genuine person when he came to give me the quote. As a single woman I needed that comfort and he did not disappoint me at all.
On the day of the move Jorge and Jad were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Very professional with a touch of friendliness. They arrived on time and finished within the time they promised. Between the two they managed to move a gigantic American fridge freezer which needed lot manoeuvring – to get through a very narrow door (sorry guys did not anticipate all that) with no damage to the house or the item. They even moved few other items which were not agreed in the initial quote. Best is yet to come – next they managed to fit a three bedroom house full of items in to a small garage. Not sure how they managed that but everything was stacked up nicely and secured too (they both were more concerend than me about my own stuff).
I need to move again very soon. Guess who is doing that!!

We moved on June 9th 2010: Urban Removals worked extremely hard and made our whole move very smooth and efficient. I was dreading moving in Christmas week but Jorge and his team made it very easy. In spite of snow, ice and blizzards all was done with care and speed and I couldn\’t believe I was pretty much in an unpacked within a day! Definitely worth using the packing service. The Urban removals team did a great job for us on 6th November. Jorge was very swift in responding to all my questions beforehand, and very helpful. The team arrived early on the day and did an excellent job of emptying our old house quickly and safely so that we could clean. They did an excellent job at the other end as well. I chose to help with some of the carrying and got a good sense of team spirit working with the guys – nice people and very careful with our things.

Urban removals arrived a little before time and were good natured and efficient throughout. I had disposed of a lot of furniture prior to the move because I was downsizing. I was a little worried that the van they arrived in was too small but Jorge looked around and reassured me and everything fitted perfectly. They carried out a very large dresser which I’d been unable to give away and the council speedily collected it. Jorge and Michael worked very well together and we were soon on our way to Nottingham, where they tirelessly moved everything off. The best thing we can say about Jorge Anton @ urban removals is that he is a man of his word.
From the moment he came round to quote for our removal, to when he came to pick up the boxes he loaned us after our move, anything he said his company would do was done on time and professionally.
Jorge also included in his quote moving items which some firms either refused or wanted extra fees for.
On the day, Jorge and his team were finished by 3pm, including the reassembling of furniture in our new home.
